Electronic Music Ensemble

An electronic machine being used

Ensembles open to anyone with a passion for music. Join us today!

Create, collaborate, and perform. Register for the Electronic Music Ensemble (EME). This innovative group gives you the opportunity to produce original music alongside fellow students in a creative, supportive environment. Through hands-on exercises, you’ll strengthen your individual production skills while learning how to adapt and collaborate as part of a team. Bring your ideas to life and share your work with an audience. Join EME and be part of a forward-thinking musical experience.

The ensemble is open to all adults as well as college and high school students. Students may choose to participate in the band earning college credit (enrolling in MUS132) or for personal interest (enrolling in our Continuing Education option CSX132). Classes are offered each spring semester only.

Ensemble Registration Information

Students may earn college credit by enrolling in ensemble classes (MUS) or the continuing education (CE) class option (CSX). Before you register for classes, complete the admissions application. The steps to complete the process differ for credit and continuing education students. Remember, students who have not taken classes at ECC for more than two calendar years must reapply for admission.

Student registration for an upcoming semester opens on the dates listed in the ECC Academic Calendar. Students are strongly encouraged to register for classes before the start of the semester.

If you need help deciding which lesson option to enroll in, please contact our Performing Arts office staff at 847-214-7044.
