Elgin Community College is offering FREE classes for students 16 - 18 through our Taking Back the Trades Summer Program. Classes include healthcare, manufacturing, culinary, fire science, and more. Limited spots are available in each class.

Taking Back the Trades program offers high school students 16+ hands-on experience in skilled trades within health care or manufacturing. This program is designed to break down barriers and foster real-world education, ensuring an equitable experience for all.
