First Responder Professional Development

Offered in partnership with ECC’s Center for Emergency Services and Police Departments, these training opportunities meet the requirements of the respective state oversight agencies.

Participants get the skills they need to meet all required objectives by combining classroom and hands-on simulations. Training is offered on a variety of topics including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Fire Apparatus Engineer (FAE)
  • Advanced Technician Firefighter (ATF)
  • Rope operations
  • Vehicle and Machinery Operations (VMO)
  • Police supervisor
  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Emergency Management

Offered in partnership with ECC’s award-winning Office of Emergency Management, these programs help ensure your team is equipped and prepared when emergent situations arise.

Training is available on the following topics:

  • Incident command (essentials and system)
  • Emergency operations planning
  • Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program
  • Business continuity

Leadership
