Concurrent Enrollment
Concurrent enrollment allows F-1 students to concurrently enroll at another SEVP approved school, provided that the number of credits taken at ECC exceeds the credits taken at the other school. Concurrent enrollment is only recommended for students whose classes would otherwise be unavailable at ECC. The combined enrollment amount between ECC and the concurrent school must be at least 12 semester hours.
How to Apply
- Notify the DSO of your intent at least 30 days prior to the semester you plan to enroll concurrently.
- Complete the Concurrent Enrollment for F-1 Students Application .
- Provide proof of registration at the other school.
- Enroll only in courses at your program level.
- Submit an official transcript upon completion of the course(s).
Concurrent enrollment requests will only be approved if the above criteria are met. Your SEVIS record will remain with ECC even though you are enrolled at two schools. You are responsible for all registration and payment deadlines. You agree to request, from the other school, an official transcript be sent to ECC’s Records office once you have completed coursework.
