We Rise ECC
Support, Empowerment, and Belonging
The We Rise Club at Elgin Community College creates a safe and welcoming space for students affected by immigration status and for those who advocate on their behalf. The club promotes awareness, inclusion, and empowerment, helping undocumented students achieve their highest academic and personal potential.
Members work together to raise understanding of undocumented student issues, foster allyship across campus, and build a supportive community that celebrates resilience and opportunity.
