Engineering Tech Club
Build Skills, Innovate, and Compete in Robotics
This club offers ECC engineering students opportunities to develop teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. It also provides mentor-based programs that build STEM skills. By joining this club, you can connect with students with similar interests and participate in weekly meetings. You’ll also take field trips, explore robotics, and interact with professional engineering sectors in the community.
In 2023, the Engineering Tech Club participated in the Purdue University SIGBots VEXU Midwestern Showdown under Gaea's Besties in West Lafayette, Indiana. The ECC robotics club earned 2nd place in the competition. This achievement highlights the club’s dedication to excellence and innovation. Members work collaboratively on challenging projects, honing problem-solving abilities and technical expertise. Additionally, the club hosts workshops and guest speaker events to expose members to emerging technologies and career opportunities in engineering fields. Whether you are new to engineering or have advanced skills, this club provides a supportive environment in which to grow and succeed.
