Licensure & Certification Disclosures

Elgin Community College offers several programs leading to professional licensure and/or certification in the State of Illinois. Effective July 1, 2020, the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations 34 CFR 668.43 requires disclosures for all programs leading to a license or certification. All ECC programs of study are designed to meet the licensure requirements in the state of Illinois. This program has a national exam. Students who pass this exam are eligible to work in any U.S. state and territory. Please be advised that this does not guarantee admission into the program of study, as there may be a secondary admission process. For more information, please see the Professional Licensure Disclosure.
