Degree Program Requirements
To apply for the Histotechnology Associate of Applied Science (AAS) program, you must meet specific admission requirements—such as prerequisite coursework, official transcripts, and a completed program application. Additional items like background checks or immunizations may also be required.
Certificate Program Requirements
The Histotechnology Vocational Specialist Certificate offers a streamlined path focused on hands-on lab skills and technical training. This certificate program requires proof of an earned associate or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university at the time of application.

Histotechnology at ECC integrates general education and professional courses with hands-on experience. We prepare graduates with the technical skills needed to work in various histology laboratories.
