The associate degree in business and related business certifications from Elgin Community College allows you to study this growing field's multiple facets. ECC's Associate of Applied Science in Business degree is a two-year program that prepares you for entry-level employment in today's ever-changing business world. Topics covered include business basics, management principles, marketing concepts, financial accounting, e-commerce, sales, and global business needs. Additional business skills are developed through studying economics, business law, communication concepts, and math applications for business.

Within the two-year degree, concentrations are available in:

These concentrations provide the opportunity to study a specific aspect of business in-depth, as well as marketing concepts, pricing, advertising, merchandise planning, product planning/development, promotion, and sales techniques.
