Fall 2020 Offerings
Students will be able to view schedule updates for face-to face courses converted to online courses by Thursday, July 2, 2020. We are also finalizing details on how on-campus specialized lab courses will be conducted to ensure the health and safety of students and instructors. In the event a course includes any instruction on campus, the on-campus instruction will be scheduled to complete by the Thanksgiving break. The remainder of the on-campus course may continue online, however. Course schedule updates for students enrolled in on-campus specialized lab-based courses will be completed by July 20, 2020, to the extent possible.
The green star will indicate format and meeting times are up-to-date.

Online-only courses are delivered 100% online, with no face-to-face sessions required. Classes are taught entirely online following instructor timelines and learning outcomes. You interact mostly through discussion boards and written messages, and all assignments are submitted online.
Online-Synchronous Classes New Format
Online-synchronous courses are delivered 100% online with real-time specifically scheduled online interaction with your instructor and/or class. These classes allow for engagement in a remote classroom.
Hybrid classes combine traditional classroom instruction with online instruction with additional required learning online. 50% of the class is face-to-face (often those sessions include lab activities, studios, or clinical work). Traditional 16-week courses are flexible but also offer face-to-face learning experiences with an instructor. Meet in person with your instructor during one class period and online during another, thereby reducing classroom time and commutes to campus each week.
Face-to-face classes are traditional on-campus classroom instruction where students and instructors meet in the same physical location at a scheduled time and day. These traditional 16-week classes are ideal for those who enjoy direct interaction with peers and instructors. Face-to-face meeting days and times for each section vary depending on the course and learning needs.

Accelerated Learning Program (ALP)
Rather than taking two semesters to complete ENG-098 and ENG-101, if you're placed into ENG-098 can take both classes in just one semester. There are some ENG-098 students who take the ENG-101 course with students placed directly into ENG101. The ENG-098 class meets immediately following their ENG-101 class for additional support.
To ensure success with online classes, you should do your best to have access to computer hardware and software, including a webcam and Wi-Fi service. Please contact the Dean of Students, if you need additional assistance.
