Credit Class Learning Options
Accelerated Learning Program (ALP)
Rather than taking two semesters to complete ENG-098 and ENG-101, students who place into ENG-098 can take both classes in just one semester. There will be some ENG-098 students who take the ENG-101 class together with students who placed directly into ENG101. The ENG-098 class meets immediately following for their ENG-101 class for additional support.
Face-to-face classes are traditional on-campus classroom instruction where students and instructors meet in the same physical location at a scheduled time and day. These classes are ideal for those who enjoy direct interaction with other students, their peers, and faculty members.

Hybrid classes combine traditional classroom instruction with online instruction. These classes are ideal for achieving the flexibility afforded by online courses while at the same time, having a face-to-face learning experience with an instructor.
Each week you meet in person with your instructor during one class period and online during another, thereby reducing classroom time and commutes to campus.
Credit online classes are courses that utilize the internet as the source of access to course content and communication for the student and faculty member. Learn more about Online Classes.
Web-enhanced classes refer to courses in which a traditional class meeting schedule is maintained and uses the online platform to help manage one or more aspects of the course, i.e., content, grade book, digital drop-box.
To find our Weekend Class offerings use the Advanced Search tab and choose in the Days of the Week area either Friday and/or Saturday. You can narrow your search further if you use the Time of Day drop-down menu to select specific time ranges.
8-Week and 12-Week Classes
8-week and 12-week classes are available, with varying start and end times, to provide an alternative to the traditional 16-week classes. These types of class offerings vary by department and term so refer to accessECC for specifics.
To find 8-Week and 12-Week Classes offerings use the Advanced Search tab and enter the Meeting Start Date and Meeting End Date. You can always narrow your search further by using any of the other fields in the Advanced Search area.
