The College’s district covers a 360-square-mile area overlapping parts of Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Kane, and McHenry Counties. Those include 29 incorporated municipalities and substantial unincorporated areas. According to the US Census’s 2015 American Community Survey estimates (5-year average), the College serves an area of nearly 500,000 residents. The College's main campus is located on 232 acres in southwest Elgin. In addition to the main campus, several satellite centers provide convenient access to educational programs throughout the district, enhancing community engagement and student accessibility.
