The College’s district covers a 360-square-mile Emile area overlapping parts of Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Kane, and McHenry Counties. Those include 29 incorporated municipalities and substantial unincorporated areas. According to the US Census’s 2015 American Community Survey estimates (5-year average), the College serves an area of nearly 500,000 residents. The College's main campus is located on 232 acres in southwest Elgin.
