Wellness Professional
Hello! I am a proud first-generation Latina graduate, an ECC alum, and a Licensed Professional Counselor. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from National Louis University, with a concentration in School Counseling.
Before joining Elgin Community College, I worked in community mental health, crisis services, healthcare, and school-based settings, supporting individuals across a range of needs and life stages.
I support students with a wide range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and motivation. My approach to therapy is skills-based and collaborative, focused on helping students build practical tools they can use to manage life’s challenges and “ride the waves” that come with being in college and beyond. I also strive to create a space where mental health support feels approachable, safe and stigma-free.
