Elgin Community College invites community members ages 55 and older to connect, network, and discover resources for living well at its upcoming Thriving After 55 Resource Fair.

The event will take place on Thursday, April 23, from 9 am to 12 pm at 1700 Spartan Drive (Building J Event Center) in Elgin.

Tailored for older adults, the fair brings together a wide range of local businesses, organizations, and service providers focused on supporting healthy, active, and engaged lifestyles. The goal is to help enhance their quality of life.

Attendees can expect:

Local exhibitors: Connect with local businesses and organizations offering products, services, and information tailored to the needs and interests of those 55 and older.
Health Screenings: Free screenings, including blood pressure monitoring, stroke risk assessments, and blood sugar testing.
Concessions: Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase. Stay energized and refreshed as you explore the fair!

Macmillan is now enrolled in ECC’s Physical Therapy Assistant program.
