Seigle Scholars Application Deadline Approaching

The application deadline for the Seigle Scholar Program at Elgin Community College (ECC) is fast approaching, with January 15, 2026, as the deadline.  

The Seigle Scholar Program offers a prestigious full-ride scholarship to support the academic aspirations of graduating high school seniors or first-year college students. It recognizes and encourages students with exceptional dedication to their communities, reflecting the Seigle family's values and commitment to empowering future leaders through education.

Only completed applications received by January 15, 2026, will be considered.

Established in 2024 by District 509 philanthropists Mark and Robin Seigle, the program covers all student expenses for up to 60 credits toward an associate degree at ECC for graduating high school seniors or first-year college students.

The 2025-2026 scholars were welcomed at a reception on September 24, 2025. This year’s cohort included students Sophia Cork, Trinity Tecson, Brynn Copp, and Ream Basraoui.
