Elgin Community College across Lake Spartan

Petitions for nomination for trustee of Community College District 509 (Elgin Community College) may be downloaded at elgin.edu beginning Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

The first day to circulate nominating petitions is Tuesday, August 20, 2024, for the April 1, 2025, consolidated election.

A minimum of 50 signatures of registered voters residing in Community College District 509 are needed for a candidate’s name to be placed on the ballot.

Illinois community college trustees hold a six-year term of office. There are two (2) six-year positions currently up for the consolidated election, April 1, 2025.
