2023 - Rising Tide: The Crossroads Project performs at the ECC Arts Center on October 6

The Elgin Community College Arts Center presents Rising Tide: The Crossroads Project on October 6 at 7:30 pm, in Building H, on ECC’s main campus, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin, Ill.

Rising Tide: The Crossroads Project is a live performance experience that weaves art and science together through powerful music, compelling prose, and stunning visual imagery that address global sustainability to provide a path toward meaningful response. The performance features physicist Dr. Robert Davies and The Fry Street Quartet, who, for the performance, confront a planet under siege and a future in peril.

The music draws from various genres, including classical, jazz, and traditional music, and is woven together with spoken word and stunning visuals to create a powerful and emotional narrative. The goal of the performance is to inspire audiences to take action toward a more sustainable future and to foster a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of all living things.
