Elgin Community College has joined in the effort to stop the spread of COVID-19 as a participating college in the White House and U.S. Department of Education COVID-19 College Vaccination Challenge. As part of this pledge, ECC is helping to increase ease and access to vaccines through its upcoming vaccination clinics to be held on Friday, Jan. 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Wednesday, Jan. 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Building K, East Lobby.
The clinics are held in partnership with the Kane County Health Department and the Illinois Department of Public Health, and will offer the Moderna and Pfizer booster, as well as first or second doses. The clinics are free and open to the public, and will require a minimum of 30 pre-registered individuals to take place. To pre-register for one of the upcoming vaccine clinics, visit Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
