Elgin Community college men’s basketball student-athlete Jordan Wilkins (guard) earned the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Second Team All-America recognition for his performance during the 2021-22 season.
He is the fourth men’s basketball player to be named All-America since head coach Reed Nosbisch took over the program in 2007. Previous selections include Brett Rau (2015-16), Homer Denson (2016-17) and Kelvin Cortez-Harvey (2019-20).
Wilkins averaged 19.6 points per game with 47.9 field goals and 43.6 three-point percentages. He also averaged 5.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.0 steals per game during the season. He has committed to continue his playing career at NCAA Division II Winona State University in the fall.
