The #MakeArtAlways virtual series continues this spring, beginning with the first event on Friday, Feb. 12, featuring Grammy-nominated Brazilian jazz guitarist, Diego Figueiredo. Friday, Feb. 12, 7 p.m.
Diego Figueiredo, a Grammy-nominated Brazilian jazz guitarist featuring inventive musical interpretations that fuse jazz, bossa nova, and classical music.
Sunday, Feb. 14, 7 p.m.
A special Valentine’s Day presentation, “How Sweet It Is!” features an evening with Grammy award-winning songwriter and recording artist Steve Leslie performing the music and hits of James Taylor.
Thursday, March 11, 7 p.m.
Shaun Hopper, finger-style acoustic guitarist performs. Hopper’s music is influenced by the sounds of Chet Atkins along with Alternative, New Age, Pop, Classical, Jazz, Folk, and Irish music undertones. Hopper is well-known for his talent and stage presence.
Wednesday, March 17, 7 p.m.
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Celtic group Kennedy’s Kitchen. Kennedy's Kitchen is all things Irish from pub songs and sing-a-longs, stories, recitation, to ripping dance tunes.
Saturday, March 20, 7 p.m.
Michael Ingersoll’s Artist Lounge Live Shows. Award-winning actor/musician/composer/lyricist Michael Mahler celebrates Paul McCartney. Chicago Sun-Times raves, "Mahler is insanely talented.” Hits performed will include Silly Love Songs and Blackbird.
The season culminates in April with another Michael Ingersoll’s Artist Lounge Live Show, ECC’s Concert and Jazz Bands, Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra, and a drama presentation put on by ECC’s Drama department.
