ECC student services offices open for in-person assistance on Saturday, August 22

Extended business hours will be available at Elgin Community College on campus to support students from 9 am to 3 pm on Saturday, August 22. Offices that will be open include academic advising, admissions, registration, financial aid, student accounts, and First Stop. The Saturday hours are offered to incoming and returning ECC students who would like in-person assistance before classes start on Monday, August 24.

At this time, Testing Services is offering placement testing remotely. Please use the remote testing form at elgin.edu/testing to sign up for the placement test. If you do not have access to complete testing remotely, there is limited, appointment-only testing on campus; you can request an appointment on the testing site listed above.

The ECC Bookstore will also be open for in-store materials pickup from 9 am to 3 pm. Orders need to be placed ahead of time at bookstore.elgin.edu. Students with questions about materials can contact the bookstore at eccbookstore@elgin.edu.

At this time, all visitors to campus must use Entrance A-2 to access the campus. All offices noted above are located in Building B. Parking lots A and B are the best campus access options. Face coverings are required for all visitors coming to campus, and social distancing will remain in place.

16-week classes begin the week of Monday, August 24; twelve-week courses start the week of Monday, September 28; and eight-week classes begin the week of Monday, October 19.
