Our free classes cover various career paths, allowing you to explore potential careers in industries requiring skilled and certified workers. You’ll gain practical experience and build confidence in your abilities.
Choose from classes in early childhood education, healthcare, business, finance, IT, and industrial arts, based on your interests.

• Receive personalized coaching from our transitions coordinator. They'll help you discuss your academic and career plans and provide valuable guidance tailored to your goals and aspirations.
• As an enrolled ECC student, you can access free computers or Chromebooks. This resource allows you to develop digital and basic skills, enhancing your readiness for further education and the workforce.

Stevens Amendment: Approximately $575,888 (40%) of the Illinois Adult Education and Literacy Program cost at Elgin Community College is federally funded under Title II, Adult Education and Family Literacy of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014.
