Adult Basic

The Testing Center at ECC helps determine which classes are best for you at the Adult Basic Education Center. Ensuring you're placed in the right class for your skills is important. You can choose to take the test on campus or from home.

To take the test for English as a Second Language (ESL) or the State of Illinois High School Diploma (HSE/GED) programs, you'll need an ECC student ID number and a valid email address. If you don't have an ECC ID number, you must fill out a form. Someone from the staff will contact you to help. If you forget your password, we can assist with that, too!
