Concert Band

Overview

In the Concert Band, students will strengthen their technical proficiency with their instrument, sight-reading, and musical interpretation through ensemble performance. Additionally, students will gain a deeper understanding of individual and group contributions, music theory and history. A wide range of repertoire will be explored, from classical symphonic works to contemporary compositions, through weekly rehearsals to prepare for the end of semester concert. The band is open to all qualified adults as well as college and high school students."
