Asian Pacific Month

Elgin Community College proudly commemorates the rich history and invaluable contributions of Asian culture. ECC's APM Planning Committee has chosen "Empowering Identity: Exploration through Representation" to honor the diverse Asian and Pacific Islander cultures. Despite often being lumped together as a single entity, this community encompasses more than 40 distinct ethnicities.
