The Beyond Borders: Global Engagement and Professional Development Program is a short-term international training professional program for eligible ECC faculty and administrators. The program is designed to expand participants’ global consciousness and intercultural understanding through exposure to a foreign country’s culture and traditions and various international programs. Through these engagements, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the country’s educational system, visit various institutions and the host partner organization/institution (subject to availability), experience a new culture, and participate in cultural visits to sites of local and historical significance. Emphasis is placed on professional activities that provide participants with international experiences that can be used to transform or complement their professional duties at ECC.

This competitive admission program has limited capacity. As a cost-sharing professional development program, the program allows participants to engage in an affordable and immersive international experience.
