Programs for Preschoolers

The ECC Early Childhood Lab School's highly trained and professional staff, many of whom have advanced degrees in child development and related fields, are committed to the philosophy that children are individuals, each with a unique style and rate of learning. The lab school's full range of learning and developmental activities helps children reach their potential.

Full and Part-Time Care

This program for children ages 2 to 5 years focuses on large and small motor development, pre-reading and pre-writing skills, visual and auditory discrimination, letter and number recognition, and various social experiences.

This program is available year-round when the college is open to ECC students and employees. When classes do not meet, care is provided by appointment only.

Nutrition and Health

The Early Childhood Lab School (ECLS) participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program which allows us to provide all children with a well-balanced breakfast, hot lunch, and afternoon snack.

No outside food or beverage is allowed in the center unless there is a written medical and/or food allergy plan on file.

The ECLS is a peanut free facility.
