Financial Aid Enrollment Status
Your enrollment status and the number of credits you are taking directly affect your financial aid eligibility and award amounts. Federal guidelines determine enrollment status, which may differ from school-specific definitions.
| Status | Credit Hours | Impact on Aid |
|---|---|---|
| Full-time | 12+ | Maximum aid eligibility |
| Three quarter-time | 9 - 11.5 | Partial aid eligibility |
| Half-time | 6 - 8.5 | Limited aid eligibility |
| Less than half-time | 1 - 5.5 | Minimum or no aid eligibility |
|
Note: Always consult with the Financial Aid Office before making any schedule changes to understand the potential impact on your aid.
