Mark Turcotte, 6th Illinois Poet Laureate, visits Elgin Community College on Thursday, February 26th. Creative writers in the community, feel free to join him for a craft workshop on poetry writing from 2:00-3:15pm in C120 (enter through the library). This event precedes an evening reading, and it is free and open to everyone. Registration is not required, but it can help us plan. It can also serve as a reminder as we get closer to the event day/time.
