October is a time for fall temperatures, warm beverages, scary stories, and midterms. Our focus this month includes topics to make you laugh (What's so funny-1st floor) and to scare you! Topics include Surviving the undead apocalypse, YA Horror, and Scary good non-fiction.

We also continue our displays on True Stories (by Circulation)--some great options there--- and our ongoing Wellness materials (by the 1st floor computer lab.) 

In honor of Banned Books week last month, we have a Banned Books display on the 1st floor containing books and statistics on challenges across the country. In support of that display, we have this month's eBook Spotlight on Banned Books.
