December 2024 Book Displays

December is here--finals, graduation, holidays, and all sorts of seasonal fun. Do you have your viewing and reading materials ready for the holiday? Come to the library to check out what you need for those cozy winter days. We also have access to some great online resources to eBooks and eAudio, including children's books, fiction, nonfiction, comics, and manga through our Boundless and Libby apps. Or, stream some great movies and documentaries! All of this is free to you as an ECC student, faculty, or staff member. Need help with apps? Try this!

The 2nd floor octagon is all about CATS! Learn more about our feline friends.

On 1st floor, December 1 is Rosa Parks Day--we celebrate African American women with our display about their lives and experiences. The first floor octagon has a wonderful display on Universal Human Rights Month-thought provoking works to end your year right. 1st floor also has a display for All I Want for Winter Break with a fun mix of items to inspire you. By circulation, you can find books with a funny meme of the story. Procrastinating? Check out the display by the computer lab for books (or not!) on this topic.

The holidays can be tough, so check out our Wellness cart right inside the entrance from building B.
