Chicago Repertory Ballet is Chicago's contemporary Ballet company focused on examining the dance genre from a contemporary perspective. Their choreographic style blends classical ballet with contemporary dance forms. Chicago Repertory Ballet is focused on breaking people’s preconceived notions of the art form and bringing 'dance that defies labels' to the stage. Choreographic works like The Four Seasons, Le Sacre Du Printemps, and (Artistic Director Wade Schaaf's) Macbeth bring storytelling to the forefront of the company's repertoire.
