Overview
Humanities is the study of artistic, religious, and philosophic expressions of cultures around the globe. You’ll practice essential critical reasoning, writing, and research skills with the direction of expert faculty. Develop strong analytical skills through courses in philosophy, ethics, logic, religion, and general humanities. These skills are invaluable to employers and can be applied in careers ranging from business and education to government, law, and medicine.
ECC’s Humanities Center spotlights contemporary cultural issues, engaging students and community members with a popular speaker series, an international film festival, and a stimulating philosophical discussion forum, Socrates Café.
