Overview

Economics is the study of how consumers and producers make choices and how that affects the economy. Whether you’re required to take a course as a business major or plan to study something else, taking a course in economics will improve your ability to understand current events and make informed economic decisions in today’s challenging global environment. You’ll also explore the economic way of thinking and find answers to questions about how markets work, the role of money, how businesses make decisions, and how governments influence the economy.
