Discover anthropology at Elgin Community College, where you can see fossil skull replicas and take engaging introductory classes. No matter your interests—science, art, or humanities—anthropology lets you explore the many ways people are diverse.

You’ll study topics such as Cultural Anthropology, Archaeological Laboratory Methods, Prehistoric Archaeology, and Human Evolution. These courses help you understand human diversity and apply the knowledge you gain in real-life situations. ECC also offers hands-on learning, fieldwork, and interactive projects to deepen your understanding of different cultures and histories.
