Board of Trustees - Shane Nowak, MA - Secretary

Shane Nowak graduated from Elgin Community College in 2002 with an Associate in Arts degree and continued his education at Northern Illinois University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in history in 2004. He holds a Master of Arts in Political Science from the American Public University. After graduation, he worked in various jobs in a variety of fields from the insurance industry, higher education as a financial aid advisor and as an EMT in an emergency room. Nowak was born and raised in Elgin and currently owns a home there.
