The ECC PTA Licensure Exam Pass Rates


Expected Outcome: ECC's ultimate 2-year average licensure pass rate on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) offered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT) will be 85%. The PTA program has consistently achieved this outcome.

The ECC PTA Program Completion Rate


Expected Outcome: The program expects a retention rate of 60% or higher over a 2-year period. Program retention is defined as the number of students who complete the program. The program length is 5 semesters or 2 years. The program accepts 20 students annually from qualified applications.

The ECC PTA Program Graduate Employment Rates


Employment rate.

All licensed graduates who had sought PTA employment had been employed as a PTA at the job of their choice in a part-time or full-time position as they preferred. The data is collected by contacting each graduate in follow-up communications by the PTA Program Director and independently by the Institutional Research Department of Elgin Community College.
