Elgin Community College student Nathan Depcik was one of 319 community college students nationwide to move closer to a career in science and engineering as part of the NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars program (NCAS).
The ECC Arts Center is excited to announce that acclaimed stand-up comedian Lewis Black will be bringing his “The Joke’s on US Tour” to the Arts Center on Thursday, March 21. The performance will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale on Friday, Oct. 26 at 10 a.m.

Elgin Community College will host “The IF Project,” a screening of the documentary by the same name that explores the reasons women are becoming the fastest-growing segment of the incarnated population, on Thursday, Sept. 20 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the Building E Dining Room, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin, IL.
Representatives from nearly a dozen Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) will be at Elgin Community College on Saturday, Sept. 15, for the second annual HBCU fair. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Jobe Lounge, located in Building B, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin, IL.
