For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST®) Illinois Robotics will be hosting two state championship robotics tournaments at Elgin Community College, Building J, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin, on Saturday, Jan. 19 and Sunday, Jan. 20 from 1 to 5 p.m. The event is free of charge and open to the public for viewing.
Five Elgin Community College employees have been selected to receive the 2019 National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) Award. The award recognizes outstanding faculty, staff and administrators of community and technical colleges.
