Registration for fall credit classes is underway at Elgin Community College and will continue until the semester starts on August 22. College staff are ready and available to help new students through the application and enrollment process. Students are advised to register as soon as possible to get the best selection of courses and times.
ECC offers flexible learning options to meet students learning and scheduling needs. Classes will be offered face-to-face, online, and hybrid. ECC offers more than 130 degree and certificate options in popular areas of study such as business and professional services; digital technologies; health professions; education and human services; liberal, visual and performing arts; emergency services and public safety; technical education; and university transfer.
Adults who have no college credit, as well as those who have some credit but no degree, can move ahead at ECC to increase their earnings potential in a current field or to transition into a new career by completing a degree or certificate program. The Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships is available to help students navigate the financial aid process. In addition, the ECC Foundation offers more than 200 student scholarships, worth thousands of dollars, based on financial need, career areas of study and academic and leadership excellence.
