Petitions for nomination for trustee of Community College District 509 (Elgin Community College) may be downloaded at https://elgin.edu/about-ecc/trustees/trustee-elections/ beginning Tuesday, September 20, 2022.

The first day to circulate nominating petitions is Tuesday, September 20, 2022, for the April 4, 2023, consolidated election.

A minimum of 50 signatures of registered voters residing in Community College District 509 are needed for a candidate's name to be placed on the ballot.

Illinois community college trustees hold a six-year term of office. There are three (3) six-year positions and one (1) four-year position currently up for the consolidated election on April 4, 2023.
