Under the Streetlamp Alumni return to the ECC Arts Center on Dec. 18 and 19 in “Jingle Bell Rock”

Elgin Community College Arts Center presents “Jingle Bell Rock” with nationally recognized performers Michael Ingersoll and Christopher Kale Jones on Saturday, December 18 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, December 19 at 3 p.m. The performances will be in the Blizzard Theater located in Building H on the Spartan Drive Campus, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin.  

Ingersoll is known for starring as Nick Massi of the Four Seasons in “Jersey Boys” with the original Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles casts. Ingersoll also toured nationwide performing with his retro-rock vocal group “Under the Streetlamp,” and co-starred in and co-produced multiple PBS concert specials. His television credits include appearances on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” “The Tonight Show,” “PBS’ Capitol Fourth,” the “Primetime Emmy Awards,” “The Beast,” and “Chicago Fire.” He also appeared in the film “Walk the Line.” Michael’s theatrical credits include “tick, tick…BOOM!” (Jonathan Larson, Jeff Award nomination), “Of Mice and Men” (George, Ostrander Award nomination), “Floyd Collins” (Floyd, Ostrander Award nomination), and “Bat Boy: The Musical” (Bat Boy, Ostrander Award nomination). Ingersoll is also the creator of Artist Lounge Live, a concert series featuring popular music of yesterday performed by talents of today.

Jones is also known for starring in “Jersey Boys” as Frankie Valli and is a founding member of “Under the Streetlamp.” Other theatre highlights include starring as Seymour in multiple productions of “Little Shop of Horrors,” “Olympus On My Mind” (Barrymore Award Nomination), “The Music Man,” “It’s A Wonderful Life,” “Ragtime,” “The King & I,” “The Wizard of Oz,” “Aladdin,” and “Peggy Sue Got Married.” Other television appearances include “Access Hollywood, Extra!” and “The Tonight Show.”
