Elgin Community College will host its fourth annual Boo Bash on Friday, Oct. 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Building J Events Center, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin. Area families with children are invited to attend the free event as a safe way to celebrate Halloween.

“Boo Bash provides a safe, family-friendly place for our community to celebrate Halloween and the tradition of trick-or-treating,” said Amybeth Maurer, director of first year programs and student life. “It’s fun for all ages, and we invite everyone to show their Halloween spirit.”

The event will feature fun, kid-friendly activities, Halloween themed tables, indoor trick-or-treating, face painting, balloon art, moon bounce, and more. Kids can also enter the costume contest between 5 and 5:30 p.m. Judging will begin at 5:45 p.m.

Attendees are encouraged to wear kid-friendly costumes that are appropriate for this event. Cooperation helps to ensure a safe, enjoyable environment for participants of all ages.
