New leadership seminars offered at ECC this fall

Ready to move ahead? Elgin Community College is offering seminars this fall to local professionals of all industries and backgrounds who seek to further develop their leadership skills. Cost is $109 per person; or $69 per person if employed at a chamber member business.

Leadership education seminars include:

Situational Leadership
Tuesday, Sept. 18
8 a.m. to noon

This seminar is focused on teaching leaders to diagnose the needs of an individual or a team and then use the appropriate leadership style to respond to the needs of the person, team and the situation.

Leading Change
Thursday, Sept. 20
1 to 5 p.m.

Interactive change seminar that increases leaders’ change awareness level and provides the strength to fuel successful organizational change. The program utilizes participation, feedback and reinforcement to enable leader learning.

Seminars are offered in partnership with several area chambers of commerce including Algonquin/Lake in the Hills, Bartlett Area, Burlington Business Council, Carol Stream, Elgin Area, Hampshire, Hoffman Estates, Huntley, Northern Kane, St. Charles, Streamwood and Western DuPage.
