Lab School FAQ
The Early Childhood Lab School is available to students and employees. Students enrolled in dual enrollment programs i.e. NIU 2+2 may also be eligible to use the Early Childhood Lab School.
Yes, you may utilize the center during class time, study time and work hours.
You may enroll in-person or via email. If you choose to enroll via email, please call or email the Early Childhood Lab School to obtain the forms needed.
Once the total semester charges are calculated they are placed on your Student Account. You may sign up for a payment plan or pay in full just as you would for your classes. Financial Aid will be applied directly to your Student Account.
No. In order to use the Early Childhood Lab School, your child must enroll for the entire semester.
Multiple the # of time blocks per week x the rate x the number of weeks.
Example: For a student with a 2-year-old child enrolled MW 8-2 for a 17-week course
4 time blocks/week x $16/block=$ 64/week x 17 weeks = $1088 total semester charges
