Mu Alpha Theta at Elgin Community College is a nationally recognized honor society for students who excel in mathematics. Our mission is to encourage a deeper appreciation for math, celebrate academic success, and create a supportive environment where students can grow intellectually and personally.
Members participate in a variety of enriching activities, including:
- Math competitions that challenge and inspire critical thinking.
- Peer tutoring sessions to support fellow students in their math courses.
- Community outreach programs that promote math education and awareness.
