Fall semester has started off pretty exciting at the library, with many classes and students engaging in our spaces. To that note, we have some new displays to engage both your academic side and your more playful side. To get you in the pumpkin spice mood, behind Reference we have September in Verse, September in Prose.

We continue our ongoing and very popular Wellness display right by the doors from B Building. For September, we continue Family Fun Month, because why not??? We also have some amazing books for America the Beautiful to help you dream or relive your summer vacations.

We are exploring African American Health in recognition of Sickle Cell Anemia Awareness Month. Of special note is Henrietta Lacks--we have print, eBook, and audiobook versions of her amazing story. If you haven't heard of her, you may want to learn more, as she has likely saved the lives of you or your loved ones.

Our college has a strong labor union (ECCFA & SSECCA), and in honor of labor day, we have a collection of books about labor history and workers' rights.

On 2nd floor, we have our Back to School display highlighting some fun school themed books. At the top of the steps you will find some selections of Magical Realism ready to be checked out.

Come see what's new on display, and while you are at it, check out our New Books Section on the first floor across from the Circulation Desk. We guarantee you will find something great!
