DESCRIPTION:Criminal Justice Conversations is a speaker series organized through ECC&amp;rsquo;s Criminal Justice Department to bring the campus and community together for informative discussions on real-world issues in criminal justice.  Human trafficking is a complex and often hidden crime that affects people across communities, industries, and borders. This event will provide you with a clear understanding of how trafficking cases are handled within the justice system. What You&amp;rsquo;ll Learn:  The different forms human trafficking can take Why trafficking is often difficult to identify How cases are reported and investigated What prosecution looks like in real-world cases  Featured Speakers:Christine Bayer, Brian Polkington, and Gregory Spayth from the Kane County State&amp;rsquo;s Attorney&amp;rsquo;s Office will share insights from their professional experience working on trafficking cases.
