Board of Trustees

The District 509 Board of Trustees comprises seven elected officials, each serving a six-year term and one student trustee serving a one-year term.

Meetings are scheduled on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, except for January, when meetings are on the 4th Tuesday. Trustees legislate through majority rule by formally passing policies, resolutions, and motions.

Regular Board Meetings

The Community College District 509 Board of Trustees does not contract for any direct lobbying; however, it does maintain memberships in the Illinois Community College Trustees Association and the Association of Community College Trustees.
