Provisional members are encouraged to participate in chapter activities and may work towards fulfilling requirements for the membership status they wish to obtain.
These members have met the minimum requirements for membership. They are not expected to participate in any society activities after they have been inducted but will be encouraged to do so. They will receive a membership certificate, card, and pin; the Phi Theta Kappa stamp on their transcripts and diploma; and are entitled to wear the gold stole and tassel at graduation at an additional charge.
In addition to the above, these members have made a commitment to actively participate in chapter activities.
