Mammography (Basic)

Program Description

Catalog Year: 2019

The mammography program offers an advanced certificate to graduates of a JRCERT-accredited radiography program who have passed the ARRT certification examination. The 1-semester curriculum is based on the national mammography curriculum estabished by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) and the guidelines set by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA). The curriculum includes all didactic and clinical competencies required for eligibility for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) advanced national certification examination in Mammography.
