Do you know the worst part? You don’t have ECC’s information security team watching out for you anymore! But, don’t despair…
ECC's own Bill Forg brings over 30 years of information security experience straight to you in a special workshop for ECC retirees and their guests. Bill will answer all your questions and help you learn ways to protect yourself when using your home computer, mobile devices, social media, and more no matter what your level of technical experience.
Holiday Season Bus Trip
When:Tuesday, December 3, 2019.
Time:Arrive ECC by 12:45 p.m. and return by 9 p.m. Detailed agenda provided below.
Cost:$35 per person, includes only roundtrip charter bus transportation.
All participants are responsible for purchasing their own admission ticket(s) to Illumination in advance directly from The Morton Arboretum. Tickets go on sale October 1, 2019. Details will be provided.

Light up your holiday season! Reconnect with fellow ECC retirees during a stress-free bus ride to Oakbrook Center. Enjoy holiday décor, specialty shops, and an abundance of dining options for the afternoon. At sundown, take a quick bus ride to the Morton Arboretum for Illumination. Leave your holiday packages on the bus while we walk a one mile paved path through interactive tree lights and seasonal music. Warm up on the hassle-free bus ride back to ECC.
Agenda: Bus departs ECC at 1 p.m. and arrives at Oakbrook Center at approximately 2 p.m. Bus departs Oakbrook Center at 5:15 p.m. and arrives at The Morton Arboretum at approximately 5:45 p.m. Enter Illumination exhibit at 6 p.m. Bus departs The Morton Arboretum at 7:45 p.m. and arrives ECC by 9 p.m.
Monthly "Third Thursdays" Breakfast Get-Togethers
When:October 17, November 21 and December 19.
Cost:Separate checks are provided and Brianna's accepts most major credit cards or checks along with cash.

ECC Retiree Discounts
ECC retirees save 10% at the ECC Arts Center for Touring Artists and college productions. Must mention the ECC retiree discount and purchase tickets in person at the Box Office or by phone 847-622-0300. Discount is not available for online purchases.
Spartan Terrace Restaurant offers $2 off a lunch entrée if you mention you are an ECC retiree when you make your lunch reservation. For the fall 2019 semester, reservations are required and the restaurant is open for lunch on most Tuesdays & Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. To make your reservation, call 847-214-7382 or email email@example.com.

- Mentors for high school students in ECC’s Transition Academy – launched in 2013 as part of the Alliance for College Readiness, the program empowers 9th through 12th-grade students in District 509 to make positive academic and life choices that enable them to succeed in college.
